There are four pedagogical approaches that inform IKIC programs:
Project-Based Learning: learning happens in the process of investigating a question and creating a meaningful project to share publicly.
Culturally Relevant Pedagogy: students culture and identity act as a vehicle for learning and teachers strive to make learning relevant for students.
Data-Driven Instruction: teachers use student assessment data to inform their planning and instruction.
Game-Based Learning. Students play games in class that allow them to learn in fun and engaging ways.
